2025 SeasonWelcome to the Women’s Softball Team at Wells and Horrington CC!
Women’s Softball cricket, especially at our club, is all about just having lots of laughs, fun laid back vibes, and getting active together.
We welcome all Women and Girls (Year 8 and above), whether you’re and experienced player or have never picked up a bat. There is zero judgement about anyone’s playing standard.
The cricket itself is played with a solid plastic bat and a ball that means traditional cricket safety equipment isn’t needed. So no smelly pads and helmets etc!
At the moment we are using Kennion Gym on Sunday evenings 5-6pm (45mins within this slot), but will be heading outside from Mid-April (date TBC).
We play pairs cricket fixtures in the Somerset Cricket Foundation Fillers Division on Sunday afternoons and some mid-weeknights. We mix up who plays each time anyway so everyone gets a go.
Any questions/queries/comments just shoot them over and we will do our best to answer them 😊
